About The Pastor
Francis Ofurie—author of The Shepherd’s Call and The Praying Psalms—is a devoted servant of God, passionate preacher, and trusted mentor to many young leaders. With decades of experience in ministry, he leads Availers International Christian Ministries and serves as Presiding Bishop of Availers Int’l Christian Church, a Christ-centered movement equipping believers for purpose, power, and service.
Known for his wisdom in the pastoral calling, Bishop Ofurie has spent his life raising leaders who serve with integrity, compassion, and strong faith. His newest book, The Praying Psalms, helps believers grow closer to God through prayer, while The Shepherd’s Call continues to inspire effective ministry.
He shares his journey with his wife, Rev. Dr. Evelyn Ofurie, his faithful partner in life and ministry. Together, they are blessed with four gifted children who reside in the United States. Through preaching, writing, and mentorship, Bishop Ofurie continues to touch lives around the world.
